Yesterday started off good with a productive time in Sunday School. We all learned, shared, and prayed together. Then the day took a down note after services with a meeting with news that was not promising. Please be praying for FBC of Lincoln as we are going through some difficult times.

After the meeting however a encouraging event took place Daniel's friend Will came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Experiences like these make all of he hard times of ministry worth while. Congrats Will we look forward to having you learn and grow with us.

I was listening to a commentary today from Chuck Smith on Genesis chapter 38 and Chuck was talking about the robe that Joseph was given by his father. I love the fact that Jacob loved his son so much, but I could not stop thinking about the robe. Joseph robe was a robe of authority of royalty. It was a robe with sleeves. I wonder some times if as Christians we forget we are workers. We need to never forget to put our time and energy into working hard for Christ.

Joseph had a robe with sleeves, but as followers of Christ we need to tear off our sleeves and go about our Fathers business and work.

Last night Jennie brought her friend Nicole to the Wednesday night Journey. It is always exciting to have someone new come to church, but it is even better when they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Congratulation Nicole for making he decision to spend eternity with Christ.

Today I will be attending the Sierra Foothill Baptist Associational meeting at FBC Rocklin. One of the topics of discussion will be a outreach trailer. We hope to obtain a enclosed trailer with all of the supplies needed for reaching the lost.

Sunday we continued on with Genesis, but had the privilege of having Air Force One teach us. She did a great job. I hope to see more of the youth want to take the lead in teaching a class. Hope to see everyone on Wednesday.

Today Nathaniel was baptized in the new baptismal the church purchased. We had the water a little high and it was as if the front row was at a Sea World show. But Nathaniel loved the experience.

Losts to do this week. We have our quarterly business meeting and I have to prepare to give next Sundays message. I feel led to encourage the church with a salt and light sermon.

This last week I went to a memorial service for my AA sponsor. He was a great and kind man that I have a tremendous respect for. Bob will always be in my heart.

Last night my family participated in the Christmas Production at Bell Road Baptist Church. Even though I was not in the presentation I was able to observe two of my children Peter and Isaiah do a wonderful job.

Prior to the starting of the performance I watched a couple young men fooling around in the lobby of the Church. After a short conversation with Tim I was able to share with him the Gospel Message. Just before the music started Tim asked Jesus into his heart. Way to go Tim.

I am looking forward to the Christmas Eve services my wife has planed with the worship team at FBC Lincoln. It will be a wonderful start to Christmas in Lincoln. You cannot go wrong by experiencing a celebration of Christ's Birth with your family. And invite anyone who reads this blog to join us on Wednesday at 5:00pm at 1545 1st street in Lincoln.

The concert went great last week at the end of the night 5 jr high student came to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Yesterday 2 more individuals came to the Journey Gathering at the coffee house and made decisions to start their journeys with Jesus.

On Sunday Paul and I completed the glue removal from the Journey floor. It was hard work, but the outcome was great. I put out to those who were at the town hall meeting that night what the vision was that God has given me for the youth dept. I also laid it on the line by needing $2000.00 for the complete transformation of the room.

On Wednesday Logan came to the group for the first time. Logan in the younger brother of Tyler. We had some fun on the front lawn and then came it to lean what God Word means for our lives. After a 15 min. lesson I sat down with Logan and presented the Gospel to him. And as no surprise God's Word Wins Again. Congrats to Logan and his brother for their willingness to listen for the call on their lives by Christ.

On my way to the Sunday night study last night I got a call from Paul to let me know that 2 new teens had came due to an invite from Tyler and Glen. Cameron and Chris are 2 great young men. We started off the time by talking about our world views and then proceeded to have some fun on the front lawn. I pulled Cameron and Chris aside to get to know them learning about their background and what kind of experiences they had had with church and God. I had the privilege of sharing the gospel with them and after Pastor Jim, Paul, Darwin, Tyler, Chis and Cameron and myself prayed and Jesus was instantly came into their hearts. Amen.

Today I preached on True Gold. The True Gold which is Christ in your life and the things we put in front of God in our daily walk. My wife did an incredible job on her solo. It seems that whenever I preach and my wife sings in the same service everyone comes up to me afterwards to tell me how much they love her. With the pipes my wife has I consider that a complement.

We had a newcomer to the evening service. we had allot of fun tonight we started by purging the youth room of all of the junk we had stored up and then moved on to a game of catch in the front yard.

Tyler is the great young man that came for the first time tonight. He is a friend of Glen's. I was able to go through the Bible with him and praise God it took. He is now going to join Jesus in Heaven when his time comes, because a friend of his invited him to come to church on a Sunday night.

On August 20th I posted a blog about the yes on prop 8 campaign. I received a comment from Chino and he implied that I was being judgmental against gays. I want to state that I am not judging anyone. If someone is having a relationship with a person of the the same gender I am not going to love them any differently then anyone else. I would however council them about sin how I would council anyone living in sin. For example if If someone came to me with a drinking problem I would explain to them the Biblical truth of what they were doing. And if I had a person come to me living in a homosexual relationship I would explain to the what the Biblical truth of their sin was. Judgment should never come from any person. As for marriage, the Bible clearly states that it is between one man and one women in God's eyes. Therefore I will never promote anything else. If I did I would be going against the calling in my life from God.

It is Labor Day and that is what I am doing. For those who are self employed taking a day off means you do not get paid for that day.

Yesterday went well at FBC. I am praying that after we finish the remodel of the youth room more young men and women will want to be there and we will see a harvest from our work.

Next Sunday I will be preaching about stuff and the stuff we place before our Worship of God.

Yesterday I attended a community prayer meeting of the local pastors of the Auburn area. The meeting was productive and spiritual encouraging. I always get a boost of energy when I pray with other called men.

At the meeting Robert Frew a man doing a great work for protecting marriage in California and the United States of America. A few months ago the courts of California made it legal for same sex couples to marry. I do not have any hatred toward gay or lesbian people in fact I love them just as Christ does, but I feel God has ordained marriage being between one man and one women. Also Nick of Christian Team Ministries updated us about the 28th Annual Sizzler 49er Canyon 10mile run on Labor Day September 1. A Pastor once told me regarding churches is that they are like Noah's Arc. Most of the time they stink, but they float. I am experiencing this with one of my churches from the past. I have a thought to this. If you add a 300hp motor to the arc and make great strides in the waters of the world you might not smell the stink as much as you would if you were just floating. So make every effort to not standing still and life won't have that smell to it.

The Lord brought Alex last night into his loving arms. Alex is a young man who went to camp with the group for FBC and he made a decision to no longer live for himself, but the one who died on a cross for his sins.

Last night I went to Special Ministries Camp at Camp Alta. I love seeing the faith of the campers and the love they have for our Lord. I taught about trusting the Bible as Truth. After the lesson we all made our way to the chapel for worship led by Matt Klien and company. It was one of the most Spirit filled worships that I have experienced in a long time.

The deconstruction of the Journey Room continues. I am proud of all of the hard work the team is putting into their room. I expect by the end of next Wednesday we should have the floor done and be able to move on to the ceiling and walls.

Today I did a job for Pastor Herold Johnson. I sat down with him and his wife after and had a nice discussion about what God was doing in each of our lives today with ministry.

Yesterday the youth department started the renovation of the Journey Coffee House.

The carpet has been torn out we and started scraping the floor. I will submit pictures latter.

I was able to have a personal conversation with one of the new attendees of the Journey Ministry and we got to know where each of us stands in our lives and walks.

Special thanks to Derick for allowing us to use his dumpster to throw out the old carpet. He is doing a wonderful job on the main sanctuary.

Tonight I will be going up to Camp Alta to teach at Special Ministries Camp. It was a great experience for me last year and I am looking forward to being up there today.

On Sunday FBC Lincoln voted me in as the youth pastor with a unanimous vote. We are going to start the renovation of the Journey Coffee Shop otherwise known as the youth room. On Wednesday we will begin the demolition by taking out the old multi colored ratty carpet. In the future the walls, ceiling, and floor will be painted with a Starbucks feel a stage will be installed and a screen and projector will be installed. A coffee bar is planed for one of the corners and dinette tables are planed for the seating.

Everyone is excited about the changes to the room and the outreaches being planed.

My family was welcomed by the congregation and we are already making new fiends. We had a great conversation at Applebees after service with Paul and Debbie. And Paul came to the youth meeting at 6:00pm.

Today I was able to wish my sister a happy birthday. This is a very exciting year for her due to her baby that was born last month.

On Sunday I plan on giving the youth group a Spiritual Gift Test to find out where they are in their walk with the Lord. I took the test today to brush up on my Gifts and scored high on Evangelism, Pastoring, and knowledge. I hope the test I give to the youth on Sunday opens their eyes to what God wants them to do.

Last night I met with the youth group for the first time at FBC Lincoln. On Sunday I will be voted on officially as the new youth pastor. I am excited to see what God is going to do with the ministry and where He wants to take it.

John Jr left this morning to go back to school. He has done a great job and I can tell that the group loves him very much. I plan on getting to know the teens and seeing what their gifts are so that I can be the best minister to them I can be. I can already see the potential in all of them for being warriors for Christ.

Today I gave my commitment to FBC of Lincoln. I will be working with the youth of the church and the community to become fully devoted followers of Christ Jesus our Lord.

I was able to speak with John Jr. the current youth leader today on the phone. He is heading back to Oklahoma Baptist College on Thursday.

My family and I are very excited for what God has for us to do in the community to reach the young men and women and start them on their Journey with the Lord.

God has given me a vision of Journey for the ministry in Lincoln and I will be bringing it to the church on Sunday.

My first Sunday back at Bell Road was full of love and welcome. Everyone greeted me with warm hugs. I enjoyed calling to order the Bell Road Express and giving Pastor Rob three good slaps across the face. I hope that non of the folks were offended by the illustration Rob gave today. It is only because of the relationship we have that he could feel comfortable having me up smacking his mug. It takes a strong man to be able to use that illustration.

After church today I went home with the family for a time of rest.

After a quick recharge Diana and I took the kids down to Grammy and Poppa's home and then we went to a interview with FBC Lincoln. The church had called me earlier in the week for a youth pastor position. They have offered me the job now and I will be letting them know in the next couple days.

On Sunday I resigned as Pastor of FBC Dunsmuir. It was a very difficult thing to do for me, because I felt a clear call to minister to the people in the church and community. I will now be searching for God's next call for my life and for the life of my families. I wish nothing but blessings for the folks in Dunsmuir and look forward to what God does there next. You will find me wherever God calls.

This weekend I house sat for Jim and Cindy Rinne. I enjoyed the wonderful views of Mt. Shasta. As I prepared for Sunday morning. The service on Sunday were enlightening. God gave me a message on ministering to those we wound not usually. At the end of the service Kristy came forward to join the FBC family. Woody, Janet and I sat down to talk with Kristy for a couple of hours after and ended by praying for her and any issues she may be going threw.

I am getting excited about the upcoming weekend and the next week. We have our summer missionaries on the way and they will be here on Saturday during Rail Road Days. The workers at FBC are really helping to get all ready for VBS. Yesterday Rose showed her artistic skills creating our Outrigger Island banner.

We have a busy day. I am expecting to have over 100 people at the fun day today in the park. I will update today's entry latter.

The event went great congrads to Keith and Von for making decisions for Christ today. There were about 125-150 people who showed up at the event. We gave out about 200 hot dogs and multiple handouts about the church and VBS. I have to get back to the sermon tomorrow so keep FBC in your prayers.

Yesterday FBC had an Open House during the British Car Show in Town. Special thanks to those who help get the church ready on Saturday Morning. Charlie and Barb, JoAnn, Woody and Janet, and Ed, Jeremy and Caleb. The Church and Faith House are looking great. The rains caused a low turnout, but God is in control. Near the end of the event He sent two young men into the church and after a Spiritual Conversation with the Pastor Nick made a decision to ask Jesus into his heart and Antone is going to be talking to God this week about making a decision in his life.

Also special thanks to the gals at the Chamber, Denise and Nicolle for putting the flyer's for this week and nest weeks events out on their table. And also to Michelle of Z100fm for allowing me on the air to promote the church.

Today I met some new friends in Dunsmuir.

At the train depot I met Phylis and Jane. They are doing a great job of setting up a display room of historic train items for the city of Dunsmuir. They also provided hats and models of trains for the members of the Dunsmuir Express to put together.

I also met Nicole how works at the Chamber of Commence. She is expecting her first baby daughter in 5 weeks. Good luck and best wishes to her and husband Joey Leach. Hopefully this baby daughter will become a member of the Express.

Tonight I had dinner at the Ewens Home. Chris and Lorie are special people in my life and the food was great.

Today I drove up to Dunsmuir to start another weekend of fun and excitement.

When I arrived at Barb and Charlies I looked up Mark Rodgers (the son or Steve Rodgers the former pastor of FBC) I made a comment to his blog page and we have now begun conversing via e-mail. He mention how much he loved the members of FBC and how some of them were the first to tell him about Jesus and about church. I look forward to getting to know Mark who is a PHD student of Biblical History.

I started off my day today traveling down to Vallejo for the wedding of Woody and Janet. Two wonderful servants for Christ at FBC Dunsmuir. After the wedding I made my way up to Dunsmuir where I had a wonderful dinner and Charlie and Barb's. I got to meet their grandson Kyle. Not allot of people have been able to meet Kyle yet. Kyle was a preemie baby, but I must say I have rarely seen a child with the amount of spunk as this one.

On Friday I talked with the churches insurance company and they are sending the paperwork to the City for our May 31st outreach in the park. I also talked with Denise at the Chamber of Commerce for Dunsmuir and she is printing off a flyer I sent her and sticking it in her window at the Chamber office for all to see that pass by. Thank you Denise for being on board with the Dunsmuir Express.

The City of Dunsmuir is fine with us using the City Park for our May 31st outreach for children in the area. Not only are they fine, but they are excited to see event such as this going on. What a Praise.

Sunday was a good day. I preached on the vision God has given me for the future for FBC. I loved the fact that Austin, a young man who lives next door to the church came and enjoyed himself during the service.

The kickoff of the Dunsmuir Express went well the kids learned allot by having their feet washed by the pastor.

I am up for my first week as pastor in Dunsmuir. I spent an hour or so yesterday with Chris Ewens at the local softball field. Chris is the assistant coach for his daughters team and Chris invited me out to meet the girls. I hit a couple balls and took off to get my office setup at the church.

While at the church setting up the office Austin from next door came in for a visit. I think we will be seeing him at church this weekend. He seems very excited about what Sunday School is all about. I may be off, but from what I have learned about the local churches FBC is the only church in town with a operating Sunday School. Charlie and I will be working out details for next semester this weekend. If any of the teachers or students have any suggestions feel free to call one of us.

I will be at the church again today so if you read this swing by and pay a visit.

It is now 6:03pm and I am back at Charlie and Barb's after a great day at the Church.

For lunch I was treated to a tasty meal at the Cornerstone by Woody and Janet. We discussed some of the vision they had for their ministry at FBC and talked about the wedding plans for next Saturday.

I got the remainder of my office setup and the lawn mowed. My message is ready to go and I hope everyone else is too.

What a weekend. I wanted to post yesterday, but work got in the way.

On Saturday a group from Bell Road and myself went down to the Union Gospel Mission to conduct the monthly Saturday nite service. I had a message planed out, but as I sat down and started to listen to the introductions The Holy Spirit came over me and made the adjustments to what I was to talk about. I found it a privilege to preach the simple gospel, but prior to starting that I was able to encourage the men and women there with my testimony of being released from the chains of drugs and alcohol. It was amazing to see men come forward even before I was finished for prayer and Jesse a young man trying to make his way to Las Vegas accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

On Sunday I started off by giving my farewell message to the folks at Bell Road Baptist Church. It was an emotional time for me, but I was able to get through it.

After the service Al and Sue from FBC Dunsmuir and my family went to have a nice lunch at Moms Kitchen where we discussed some future plans for FBC.

At 2:00 I returned to BRBC to meet with the Ordination Council to decide if I was ready to be ordained as a Baptist Minister. After being observed for and hour and a half the council voted unanimously to ordain me.

At 4:00 the ordination service began and it was a beautiful service. My father-in-law gave a inspiring message to the candidate. And Pastor Rob Patterson gave a incredible message to the church. The most memorable part of the service was when first the ordained men of the church came forward to pray over Diana and me and then other special people in our lives prayed over us. For the rest of my life I will never forget the experience that I had that afternoon.

I am getting ready for a busy weekend. On Saturday I will preach at the Union Gospel Mission and then on Sunday I will preach for the morning service at Bell Road followed by meeting with the ordination council and then the ordination service.

I talked with Barb Wells yesterday and she let me know that her son Josh came through surgery well and is recovering. The recovery process from the operation will take about a month so please pray for him and his wife during this time.

Next week will be my official start as the Senior Pastor of FBC Dunsmuir. I will be getting started with both feet running with community outreaches to plan and members to visit and get to know.

It is Finished, on Sunday I accepted the call to Pastor FBC Dunsmuir. The vote was 90% to call me as pastor and I am excited to start this new chapter in the life God has designed for me.

On the 27th of April there will be a Ordination service at Bell Road Baptist Church in Auburn and the local pastors and BRB Church Decons will be giving me there blessing into the role of Pastor. I invite all to come and share this experience with me and my family.

Diana, Hannah and I have made it up to Dunsmuir. Charlie is going to take us around to see the rest of the town and the surrounding area. Tonight I will be meeting informally with any of the congregation that happens by.

Tomorrow is the vote and we are are excited about what God has for us to do for Him.

However, Tonight God was working at Charlie's home Woody and Janet came over for a visit and I put them on the spot about a wedding date for them. By the end of the night we had completed their pre-marital counseling session and plan to have the ceremony in Vallejo before the end of May.

On the Road Again.

Tomorrow Hannah, Diana and I will head back up to Dunsmuir Ca and First Baptist Church to find out if God will be calling us to become the new Pastor of the Church. I feel led to preach a message called Cast Your Stone. It has you look at your life and any judgemental attitudes you may have toward others.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers for this time in our lives as God equips us for a new chapter in the book of our lives that he has already written.

What a wonderful group of people at Dunsmuir.

Sunday was a incredible experience for myself and Diana. I was able to give a great message from God. (Evangelism 101). Chris did a great job playing the role of a lost soul looking for answers.

We had such a good time that we stayed another nite meeting with the people for Charlie's Sunday nite Bible Study.

Tonight my friend Alice will be visiting Team Kid to tell the kids about her experiences in Africa and what God is doing in her life the purpose He has for her.

Yesterday was like nothing I have experienced in my life. At 6:30 in the morning we had planed to leave Colfax to drop the kids a Grammy and Poppa's. At 7:00 we left, but that was ok because we made such good time to Dunsmuir that we had no worries. The views of Mt. Shasta as we came into town gave us a warm and confirming feeling.

I want to thank Charlie and Barb for their warm hospitality this weekend. Diana and I cannot say enough what they mean to us. Their home is so cool, with tall ceilings and old wood work.

We walked around town meeting allot of different people. The food is great at the Burger Barn. Beth served us well and the food was great. I met another group up from Anderson and let them know about the potluck on Sunday and invited them.

After eating we took a tour of the Church and the Faith House. The buildings are warm and welcoming. I can see potential for a great celebration of God's glory there in the near future.

At the church Sue popped in she does the flowers for the Church among other things. Sue grew up with friends of mine from Sonrise Church in Auburn Mac and Judy.

After the tour we got back to the Wells Home and waited for some of the members to visit for dinner.

I have got to go now, but I will be adding to the journal latter.

I have been preparing for the message I am to give this weekend in Dunsmuir. Diana and I are very excited to go up and meet the folks North of us. This afternoon my father in law and I chatted about the weekend to come here is that discussion.

Also...tell them that you want them to have a role in being the pastor you can be to them and the community. Bottom line...be careful not to overwhelm them...it might scare them away from calling you.

Church services went very well today. We had a couple new kids in the Express and they were introduced to Jesus and what He did for them.

After church my family was blessed to go over to the Rosenau home for a celebration of Casey, Polly and Hannah's birthdays. It is always a great experience to be able to share such wonderful moments with our church family.

Next week Diana and I will be going up to FBC Dunsmuir as I preach in view of a call for the congregation and then have a Q&A with the members of the church.

One more for Jesus.

Yesterday I asked for prayer for Lacy in Team Kid. Last night she made the decision to follow Jesus the rest of her life. Once again Jesse worked with me to bring the Gospel to Lacy. Earlier in the night I asked Lacy for the ABC's of Salvation and she nailed them. At that point I knew she was ready. At the end of the night her mom Beverly, Jesse, Lacy and myself prayed the sinners prayer. She is excited and cannot wait to tell people about having Jesus in her heart.

Today is Team Kid. Last week Victor asked Jesus to be his Lord and Savior. This week Jesse and I will be working with his older brother to find how Christ is working on his heart. In addition I am hoping to be able to wittiness to Victor and Manuel's mom alongside Manuel tonight.

Also keep Lacy in your prayers for her to understand God speaking to her call.

We have now made arrangements to stay in Dunsmuir with our new friends Charlie and Barb. Diana and I will go up on the 5th of April and stay until late on Sunday and go back the following weekend for the vote.

God is Great and Diana and I are looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know them.

It is Good Friday and it is a great one. On Wednesday I got the call to preach in view of a call and FBC Dunsmuir on the 6th of April and a vote will be conducted on the 13th for the Senior Pastor of the Church. Diana and I are very excited and are looking forward to having God provide a church to minister. Please keep us in your prayers for God's Will in our lives.

On another note I am pleased to report that Victor a young man in team kid asked Jesus to be his Lord a Savior. Jesse played a huge role in the witnessing due the language barrier. This proves that Jesus can call anyone in an situation to Him. He provides the people and needs to due so.

So Much Is Happening

In the last month and a half I have been watching in awe at what God is doing in my life. At the end of January I sent my resume to FBC of Dunsmuir for the Senior Pastor they are searching for. God has worked quickly and it seems that I will be going up soon to preach for the congregation and be voted on for the call. Last week the transition team came down to see me interact with the Bell Road Express and I had a 5 hour interview with them. For fun I created a googlepage and blog for the church to view it go to http://fbcdunsmuir.googlepages.com .

A lot has happened since my last entry, I have been blessed with another son born on December 10th Arron Jeffrey. You can see a picture of him on my web page at www.pastorbob.info . Christmas was great on Christmas eve pastor Rob and I baptized 3 people at the church. Paul was my favorite. I was able to be apart of his salvation process praying with him in early December.

The Bell Road Express has been a blast. The kids are paying attention and learning a lot. I am focusing on a few of them primarily and they are getting close to understanding Christ and what He has done for them.

Team Kid was an exciting time yesterday. The numbers were a little down, but all of the kids had a wonderful time. Christine visited the team for the first time and I hope to see her on Sunday for worship.

We made new friends with Sean and Sara yesterday. they will be joining us on Sunday so if you read this blog give them a big welcome and let them feel the Love of Christ.

It was a busy weekend for me. I started it on Friday when I was informed that one of the members of the church (Jack Chaulder) had a heart attack early that morning. At the time my wife and I were setting up for Mary and David's wedding. I went to visit jack at Auburn Faith Hospital and then went to his home to pick up teaching material for Sunday night.

On Saturday I went to help with the Wedding and ended up as a groomsman.

I wish David and Mary the best for their marriage and can't wait to see them when the get back.

On Sunday I preached at Lodi Ave Baptist Church. The folks there were so warm and loving. On Sunday night I taught on the Baptist Faith and Message with allot of help from Pastor Rob.

Today I am back at construction. I am replacing a broken drain on a utility room sink and beginning a bathroom remodel. I also downloaded yesterdays message Salt and Light. You can access it on my web page.

Thank you Cathy for reminding me about the need for Hannah's mission trip.

On May 20th we will have a fundraiser spaghetti dinner for Hannah and everyone is invited.

I have heard from some folks that they have run out of business cards. If you run out do not forget that you can order more form April next time you see her.

While talking with a friend the other day he mentioned a five year old child of a friend of his who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. I do not have the name of the little one, but keep him in your prayers. His parent own a deli in town.

Hello Again,

I hope everyone had a great week. Mine was very eventful.

Yesterday I was blessed to run a 5k sponsored by the local chapter to MOPs. (mothers of preschoolers) What made this run so interesting was the fact that I pushed my three boys down the overlook and back. I am asking all of the people who read this to pray for this great ministry. Also pray that they may consider moving to Bell Road for their weekly meetings.

In the SHAPE class tonight Rob and I will be teaching on how we are all called to be ministers. We are not called by any human reason, but from God. So take a look at how God has made you through your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality and experience. If you need any help with this contact Rob or myself and we would be happy to help anyone.

I know that I am not a false prophet because of fruit that is produced do to the teaching Christ provides me with.

I do apologize for making it seem like I was calling all of the church of the divide "false prophets". I think I made a mistake by saying that and I am sorry. It was made in a moment of passion and I would like to recant that and replace it with "misled".

Tonight is the first night of Bell Road University. If you were not able to sign up for a class yet and wish to contact the teacher from the list and see what you missed and need to bring to the next session.

Keep Tom and Phylis Stice in your prayers as they travel to the Midwest for the next few weeks.

I will not be commentiong on the church of the divide!!!

As for false prophets I ask you to read Matthew 7:15-20.

"Watch out for false phophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thuse, by their fruit you will recognize them."

Tonight Pastor Rob began his class on fasting and prayer.
A suggestion from him would to start fasting on Fridays breakfast and lunch. The purpose of the fasting and prayer could be for anything that is going on in your life or perhaps for pastors message for Sunday.

What an exciting Resurrection Sunday!

First we show up to find a true example of a false prophet sitting at our doorstep (and his family or the only other people who will believe his garbage). If you get a chance this week look up in your Bibles about false prophets and what happens to them. The folks that showed up no real understanding of Christ or have no real relationship with Him. I find it ironic the way they posed at the end of their babbling in a neat little (and I mean little) row for their family photo for Easter. Now officially on this blog it is the end of the church of the divided and what's-his-name and his false teaching on the risen Lord. Thank you Springer for your advise, but I do not think what's-his-name will be back.

On other notes thank you to all of the hard working servants who made a wonderful worship service possible. I thank God for all of your ministries and especially to Cathy for blessing the women with the pampering packages she distributed.

Praise the Lord for all he is doing and will continue to do for the body of believers and Bell Road.

Praise the Lord for the great leaders He is providing.

Praise the Lord for changed lives in our community.

Praise the Lord for us being persecuted by people with their own motives at heart, this only means we are doing our jobs.

Hello Brothers and Sisters

We are now underground. Pastor Rob is going to have special outreach assinments for all of us to do.

Please be ready to reach those in need of Salvation.

This Sunday for Easter we may have some special visitors from the Church of the Divide who may be protesting our loving church. If they do come remember to show them the Love of Christ and not to Judge them. I know it will be difficult, but this is only a test that God is providing for us Praise Him.

I hope everyone is taking advantage of the business cards and inviting people to come to join us in Worship Sunday.

I am sitting in the church office and am listening to the noises of sound boards being installed in the Sanctuary.

The bathroom makeover has also begun. We are looking to have donations for the remodel, but do not bring furniture or frills.

I was talking to Clyde this afternoon and he told me about handing out one of the cards to a man in the restaurant he was at. The man stated that he would try and make it to the Sunday service.

What a great Sunday Service.
The bussiness cards have started to be handed out and the tee shirts are being worn.
Angel has been working hard today on the womens bathroom and here is an update from her.

First, thank you to Kenny and Aubrey for all the help! We cleaned the bathroom with the idea that we wanted it to ready for any visitors we might have. I had to tell Aubrey to "work as unto the lord" to keep her going. The light fixture over the vanity was replaced and a new table and shelf put in. There lots left to do, hopefully new paint, border in the future and a few nic-nacs, pictures etc.

Special thanks to April and Scott for working all night on the cards and shirts.

Please remember to hand out your cards to non churched or churchless folks.

Once again back at church,
Today is the Sunday School Seminar and it is so exciting to see all of the Churches in the Foothill Association. Sharron Cole is sitting next to me and I have asked her for a a quote for todays event.

Sharrons quote, "This is a Sunday School Training Conference Sponsored by the Sierra Foothills Baptist Association. It is the equip and empower teachers for education. It is once a year and a wonderful opertunity for all teachers and potental teachers to share and learn from each other.

Well I am sitting in the church loby and enjoying the high speed internet and reading Steph's comment to yesterdays entry.
